A bunch of Exynos chipsets could be in danger of being hacked as Samsung has issued a warning about a high-risk vulnerability. This vulnerability applies to multiple Exynos-powered Galaxy smartphones and smartwatches. • After almost a month since its first report, Samsung is rolling out security updates that are expected to patch the vulnerability.
• As per Google’s threat analysis experts, the exploit allowed foreign actors to gain system privileges and run code on your device.
• However, this was disguised as a Samsung process so it couldn’t be easily found during system scans.
• Foreign code being run on your phone means hackers can gain access to personal information like bank account details, read private conversations and see photos/videos.
• This is not the first time such an exploit made news as experts at Google say they have seen instances of foreign parties using this exploit to execute code and gain access.
• The extent of the attack or the identity of the attackers is not revealed at the moment. 
• his new development comes amidst reports of Samsung ignoring the Exynos chipsets for the upcoming Galaxy S25 series owing to poor yields.
