PCMark test

The PCMark battery benchmark test measures how long a smartphone can handle video playback. We set the screen brightness to 80 percent on all three phones and tracked how long it took for the battery to drop from full to 20 percent. The iQOO Z9s lasted 14 hours and 22 minutes, while the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion managed 9 hours and 53 minutes. The OnePlus Nord CE4 leads the pack with 16 hours and 2 minutes. The iQOO Z9s and OnePlus Nord CE4 performed better mainly because they have bigger batteries. Based on these results, the OnePlus Nord CE4 is likely to give you the best battery life.

Winner: OnePlus Nord CE4

Video streaming test

For the video streaming test, we played the same YouTube video on all three phones with the brightness and volume set at 50 percent to see how much battery they used. The iQOO Z9s Pro and OnePlus Nord CE4 both showed a 3 percent battery drain, while the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion dropped slightly more at 4 percent. Since the iQOO Z9s Pro and OnePlus Nord CE4 have larger batteries, they naturally drained less. If you enjoy watching videos or streaming shows, the iQOO Z9s Pro and OnePlus Nord CE4 are likely to last you longer.

Winner: iQOO Z9s Pro and OnePlus Nord CE4

Gaming test

For the gaming test, we played BGMI, COD: Mobile, and Real Racing 3 on all three phones with similar volume and brightness settings. Each game was played for about 30 minutes, and we recorded how much battery each device used. The iQOO Z9s Pro had a total battery drain of 21 percent (an average of 7 percent per game), while the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion dropped 26 percent in total (8.6 percent average). The OnePlus Nord CE4 performed the best, with only a 17 percent total drop (5.6 percent average). If you frequently game on your smartphone, the OnePlus Nord CE4 offers the best battery life.

Winner: OnePlus Nord CE4

Charging speed

All three phones offer solid fast charging support. The OnePlus Nord CE4 leads the pack with 100W charging, followed by the iQOO Z9s Pro at 80W, and the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion at 68W. We timed how long it took each phone to charge from 20 percent to 100 percent. The OnePlus Nord CE4 was the fastest, taking just 35 minutes, while the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion was close behind at 36 minutes. The iQOO Z9s Pro took 39 minutes. Once again, the OnePlus Nord CE4 comes out on top with the quickest charging time.

Winner: OnePlus Nord CE4

Verdict

From the comparison so far, the OnePlus Nord CE4 stands out as the clear winner. It offers impressive battery life along with the fastest charging speed among the three phones. The iQOO Z9s Pro is a close second, trailing just slightly behind in both benchmark and real-world tests. While the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion doesn’t perform as strongly, it is understandable, given that the other two phones have larger batteries. Although it does have the second-best charging speed. If you’re looking for a phone that provides reliable battery life and super-fast charging, the OnePlus Nord CE4 is the best choice under Rs 25,000.
