Honor 200 Pro vs Xiaomi 14 Civi battery comparison: what’s the difference?
The Honor 200 Pro and Xiaomi 14 Civi (review) share several similarities – be it processor, memory, or even design. However, the two differ quite significantly when it comes to their respective battery. Apart from the differences in the battery sizes, there’s a wide gap in the charging speed as well. While the Honor 200 Pro offers 100W fast wired charging support, it skips the charger in the box.

PCMark
PCMark’s battery test offers a decent insight into the smartphone’s ideal battery backup in the optimum conditions. For our battery test, we enabled flight mode and kept brightness and audio levels on both devices. We also fully charged the Honor 200 Pro and Xiaomi 14 Civi at the start of the round.
The Xiaomi 14 Civi lasted over 12 hours in PCMark’s extensive battery test, while the Honor 200 Pro survived for 9 hours. The Xiaomi 14 Civi’s impressive performance may surprise many due to its smaller battery onboard.

YouTube video test
The next round involves playing a YouTube video on both smartphones for 30 minutes. We also ensured similar brightness and audio levels on the Honor 200 Pro and Xiaomi 14 Civi for a fair contest.
At the end of the test, both smartphones consumed 3 percent of their battery. However, in absolute terms, the Honor 200 Pro used 156mAh, while the Xiaomi 14 Civi consumed 141mAh.
Winner: Xiaomi 14 Civi
Gaming
For the gaming test, we played three popular games, including Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), Call of Duty (COD), and Real Racing 3, for 30 minutes each on the two devices. We are considering the average battery drop for this battery test.
At the end of the round, the Honor 200 Pro and Xiaomi 14 Civi’s average battery drop was 6.3 percent and 7 percent, respectively. In absolute terms, the Honor phone consumed 327.6mAh battery and the Xiaomi phone used 329mAh battery. Therefore, there’s not a significant difference.
Winner: Honor 200 Pro
Charging speed
Based on charging-speed numbers, the Honor 200 Pro is ahead of the Xiaomi 14 Civi. Honor provided us with an international 100W charger as the box does not provide the adapter. The Xiaomi 14 Civi provides a 67W adapter.
With the proprietary adapters, the Honor 200 Pro took 39, while the Xiaomi 14 Civi took 40 minutes to charge from 20 to 100 percent. Honor has also provided 66W wireless charging support, which we could not test.
Winner: Honor 200 Pro
Verdict
Based on our tests, there’s a tie between the two smartphones. However, the Honor 200 Pro leads certain segments by a very fine margin. In that case, the Xiaomi 14 Civi is a better choice based on the battery and charging tests.
