Honor 200 Pro vs Xiaomi 14 Civi performance comparison: which Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 phone reigns supreme?
The new Honor 200 Pro and Xiaomi 14 Civi (review) both draw power from Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, but there’s a wide price difference between the two. The former’s 512GB variant is currently retailing on Amazon India for Rs 57,998, while the latter’s same storage variant costs Rs 47,999. If you opt for its base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, the price drops to 42,999.
Despite using the same processor and having the same RAM capacity (top variant for 14 Civi), is there any difference between the two phones’ performance? Here’s a detailed performance comparison.
Honor 200 Pro vs Xiaomi 14 Civi specifications
Smartphone | Honor 200 Pro | Xiaomi 14 Civi |
Processor | Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC | Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC |

Geekbench
In Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, which essentially evaluate the phone’s CPU performance, the Xiaomi 14 Civi stood taller. Readers must note that we are testing the top storage variants of both smartphones.
The Geekbench results indicate that the Xiaomi 14 Civi may handle basic (app load and browsing) and heavy tasks (editing and gaming) more efficiently.
Winner: Xiaomi 14 Civi
AnTuTu
Similarly, the Xiaomi 14 Civi continued its streak against the Honor 200 Pro in the AnTuTu as well. Unlike Geekbench, AnTuTu also considers GPU performance, memory speeds, and user interface (UI).
Notably, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, which also features the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, holds the highest score so far with this particular Qualcomm chipset, achieving 1,444,591 points.
Winner: Xiaomi 14 Civi
CPU Throttle
We checked the CPU’s stability under severe workload via the Burnout app.
This time, the Honor 200 Pro exhibited relatively better stability under pressure. So far, in our synthetic benchmarks, the Xiaomi 14 Civi has been leading.
Winner: Honor 200 Pro
Gaming
For our gaming test, we ran two popular titles, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and Call of Duty (COD) on the Honor 200 Pro and Xiaomi 14 Civi for 30 minutes each. For our gaming test, we are considering the phone with thermal management.
After 30 minutes of BGMI playtime, the temperature change on the Honor 200 Pro and Xiaomi 14 Civi was recorded at 5.2 degrees Celsius and 6.47 degrees Celsius, respectively.
At the end of the COD round, Honor 200 Pro’s temperature increased by 6 degrees Celcius, while Xiaomi 14 Civi’s temperature rose by 6.6 degrees Celcius, though not a significant difference.
Winner: Honor 200 Pro
Verdict
While the benchmark results lead to a tie between the two smartphones, there are some interesting insights. The Xiaomi 14 Civi may exhibit better performance and feel more fluid at times. However, the Honor 200 Pro offers similar performance, if not the best, and manages heat better, as demonstrated in both synthetic benchmarks and real-life tests.
Apart from that, readers must note that the software experience may more or less be the same for the two. The Honor 200 Pro has fewer pre-installed apps out of the box (49), whereas the Xiaomi 14 Civi comes with 53 pre-loaded apps. Both smartphones ship with Android 14-based custom skin and will receive three major OS updates.
Meanwhile, the two phones claim excellent camera performance due to the partnership with the camera studio and makers. You can see our camera comparison here.
