The electric two-wheeler segment is growing exponentially and Detel, another Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has gotten on board the trend with their new offering – the Detel Easy Plus electric bike. The Detel Easy Plus electric bike has been launched at a price of just Rs 39,999. This new electric bike can be booked with a downpayment of Rs 1,999 via Detel India’s official website. This new electric bike has been made with last-mile-transport substitution in mind and as the company claims no registration either. With a low entry price, decent spec sheet and easy to use design, the Detel Easy Plus electric bike is a compelling product in the electric bike segment. Let’s take a look.
Detel Easy Plus electric bike specifications
The Detel Easy Plus electric bike is powered by a 250W motor and comes paired with a 20Ah Lithium-ion battery pack. This battery pack takes about 4-5 hours to charge from 0 to 100 percent. According to Detel’s claims, the Easy Plus electric bike achieves a range of 60km and has a top speed of 25kmph. The Detel Easy Plus electric bike uses a powder-coated metal alloy chassis. It comes with a digital instrument panel, tubeless tires, drum brakes, and pedals. The Detel Easy Plus electric bike has a load-carrying capacity of 170kg which can make it a good buy if you are planning on hauling cargo from time to time. It also has a healthy 170mm ground clearance.
The Detel Easy Plus electric bike seems to have been designed keeping the lower end of the market in mind. The moped-inspired design is both practical and cheaper to manufacture and goes well with consumers who have shorter commutes. The total price after GST comes down to Rs 41,999 and the remaining Rs 40,000 need to be paid 7 days prior to delivery. This electric bike can be purchased using EMI options also. Detel India currently has a network of booking partners in Haryana, Delhi, and West UP.
