Google Tensor G4 vs MediaTek Dimensity 9300 AnTuTu, Geekbench score

Tensor G4 and Dimensity 9300 are the flagship processors from Google and MediaTek respectively. The former is made on Samsung’s 4nm node while the latter is fabricated on TSMC’s 4nm process. Let’s figure out how these processors fare against each other in terms of benchmark scores. For this, we’ve put together the Tensor G4 vs Dimensity 9300  AnTuTu score and other available benchmark results. We have also shared their side-by-side specs comparison at the bottom.

Note: The Tensor G4 and Dimensity 9300 scores are based on benchmark tests conducted by 91mobiles on Google Pixel 9 Pro XL and Vivo X100 respectively.

Tensor G4 vs Dimensity 9300: AnTuTu scores compared

AnTuTu analyses the chipset’s performance by testing the CPU, GPU, memory, and user experience (UX). It delivers a comprehensive score at the end which can be used to assess the chip’s capability and draw comparisons with other chipsets.

ANTUTU (v10) TENSOR G4 DIMENSITY 9300
AnTuTu score 13,23,184 20,38,916
CPU 3,94,284 4,82,423

Why is Mediatek Dimensity 9300 better than Google Tensor G4?

Per our in-house testing, the MediaTek 9300 comes on top of Tensor G4 in various benchmark apps such as AnTuTu with a lead of over 7,15,000 points and a lead of 2,900 points in the Geekbench multi-core test. Although real-world experience may differ, the MediaTek 9300 should be able to provide better raw performance than Tensor G4 in high-end games and rendering high-resolution videos.

Meanwhile, Google claims the Tensor G4 wasn’t “designed to beat some specific benchmark” but rather to “meet our (Google’s specific) use cases.”
