Mi 10i specifications spotted on Geekbench ahead of rumoured India launch

Mi 10i has allegedly popped up on Geekbench, days after 91mobiles exclusively revealed its storage and colour options. The handset surfaced on the benchmarking site with the same model Xiaomi M2007J17I, which was previously spotted on the Google Play Console listings. The Geekbench listing reveals key Mi 10i specifications, including chipset, RAM, and software, which are in line with previous leaks and rumours. There is no official Mi 10i launch date in India yet, but we know it’s likely to debut in the country as a rebranded Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G soon. While the Mi 10i price remains a mystery at the moment, it’s expected to be one of the most affordable 5G smartphones in the country.

Per Geekbench, the Mi 10i could be powered by chipset codenamed as ‘gauguinpro’, which is being linked to the mid-range Snapdragon 750G SoC. The listing also confirms that the handset will employ 8GB RAM and run Android 10, most likely with MIUI 11 skin atop, out of the box. The phone scored 652 in the single-core test, and 2004 in the multi-core test.

Apart from this, the Mi 10i is expected to come with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The handset is also rumoured to ship with a punch-hole design and 6.67-inch FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. The phone could be driven by a 4,820mAh battery and support 33W fast charging solution. For photography, the Mi 10i is tipped to highlight 108MP quad rear cameras with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera of the phone may sport 16MP sensor for selfies and video chats. There could be a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
