OnePlus is known to be working on the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro flagships. Recent leaks claimed the flagships might debut between October and December and will look to take on flagships from other OEMs. After leaking the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro design and specs details, tipster DigitalChatStation is back again with more OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro specs.

OnePlus Ace 5, Ace 5 Pro hardware details tipped

• According to DCS, the OnePlus Ace 5 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, while the Pro variant will come with the more powerful yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.
• For reference, the OnePlus Ace 3 has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, while the Ace 3 Pro has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
• The OnePlus flagships are expected to come with a high-density silicone battery with a capacity of 6000mAh+. Earlier leaks hint the OnePlus Ace 5 will have a 6,200mAh cell with 100W fast charging.

• The OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro are tipped to feature a customised BOE X2 1.5K 8T LTPO display with flat edges and narrow bezels on all four models.
• DCS says the OnePlus phones will come with a right-angled metal middle frame, which should make them quite durable. An earlier leak from DCS said the Ace 5 Pro will have a ceramic or glass back build.
• As for cameras, the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro are tipped to feature 50MP triple cameras. However, there will be no periscope lens, which should be present on the OnePlus 13 flagship.
• Lastly, the flagships are expected to feature an ultra-thin optical fingerprint sensor for security.

Given that the OnePlus Ace 3 launched globally as the OnePlus 12R, there are chances the OnePlus Ace 5 might be rebranded as OnePlus 13R in global markets, including India. The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro could be exclusive to China. Rumours have it the OnePlus Ace 5 will have a 6.78-inch large LTPO 8T display. To recall, the OnePlus Ace 3 also has the same screen size.
