Realme 13 4G price, specifications made official as phone launches in Indonesia

Realme 13 has debuted in Indonesia as a new budget offering with 4G LTE connectivity. This comes after the Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro+ were launched in India. The Realme 13 appears to be a rebrand of the Realme 12 4G, which was launched in Pakistan back in June this year. We get a large 6.67-inch AMOLED display, a 50MP Sony camera and a 67W fast charging speed similar to the Realme 12 4G.

Realme 13 4G is priced at IDR 2,999,000 (around Rs 15,800) for the base model with 8GB/128GB storage. We also get the phone in 8GB/256GB variant and this is priced at IDR 3,199,000 (approx Rs 16,900). The company is offering an initial discount of IDR 200,000 and this brings down the cost to IDR 2,799,000 and IDR 2,999,000 respectively. 

The handset comes in Skyline Blue and Pioneer Green colours. The sale of the phone will start from today i.e. August 8th. 

Realme 13 4G specifications, features

Realme 13 4G sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a punch-hole cutout, a 120Hz refresh rate, 92.65 percent screen-to-body ratio, 2400 X 1080 pixels resolution, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 600nits normal brightness. The display supports a rainwater touch.

Powering the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 SoC paired with Adreno GPU for graphics. The handset comes in two models: 8GB/128GB and 8GB LPDDR4x RAM/256GB. We get a microSD card for memory expansion. It runs on Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 custom skin out of the box. 

Realme 13 4G comes with a 50MP Sony LYT600 primary camera with OIS and a 2MP secondary sensor. We get a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats. The handset measures 162.95mm X 75.45mm X 7.92mm and weighs 187 grams. There is a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. The company is bundling an 80W adapter in the box.

We get an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, dual speakers with Hi-Res audio, a vapour cooling chamber to dissipate heat, and a GT mode.

Realme 13 4G: what’s new

Realme 13 4G succeeds the Realme 12 4G, which is also fairly new. Both phones are identical and are almost the same phones but with different monikers for different markets. We get the same 6.67-inch display and the panel used is AMOLED. There is a 120Hz refresh rate on both phones. The chipset powering the phone is also the same: Snapdragon 685 and the connectivity is just limited to 4G LTE.

The camera setup is also identical: we get a 50MP Sony LYT600 primary camera and there’s OIS support. The battery capacity is also the same at 5,000mAh battery and we get 67W fast charging.

The primary difference between the models is the level of water resistance: while the Realme 13 4G gets IP64, the Realme 12 4G settles with just an IP54 rating.
