itel is set to expand its A-series of affordable smartphones with the launch of itel A50 in India. 91mobiles has learned from our sources that the itel A50 India launch could take place next week. We have also gathered its likely price range and some of its key specs and features. Here, take a look:

Our sources tell us the itel A50 will be priced under Rs 7,000. The itel A70, meanwhile, launched in January for a starting price of Rs 6,299 (4+64GB) and is currently selling for Rs 6,499 on Flipkart. 

So, it seems itel aims to strengthen its presence in the sub-8k segment.

We have managed to collect a few key details about the itel A50 series. In the phone’s poster, the company has mentioned itel A50 series and we believe that the “series,” hints at the multiple colours (black, blue, yellow, green) and memory options the phone will be available in. 

The itel phone could sport a 6.56-inch HD+ display. Its A70 sibling has a 6.6-inch HD+ (1612×720-pixels) screen. So pretty similar.
