Nothing Phone (2a) Plus is selling via Flipkart starting 12 PM today. You can also buy it from Croma and Vijay Sales.
The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus 8+128GB model is launched for Rs 27,999 and the 12+256GB variant retails for Rs 29,999. However, you can avail of a Rs 2,000 bank discount if you use any bank credit or debit card for the transaction.
The device will be available in two colours viz., Black and Grey.
Should you buy Nothing Phone (2a) Plus?
Compared to the regular Nothing Phone (2a), the Plus model has more LED lights on its back (and a better Glyph interface), higher 2,160Hz PWM dimming of the display, a higher clock-speed chip, a higher resolution selfie camera with 4K video support, a bit faster charger, and fewer colour options.
Rest, you get the familiar Nothing software treatment (also with built-in ChatGPT and ChatGPT and a new AI News Reporter widget), an identical 6.7-inch 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED display, 1,300 nits peak brightness, 50MP+50MP dual rear camera setup, and a 5,000mAh battery.
In our review, we liked the clean software, dependable performance, and decent battery life of this phone. However, we would have liked to see better display brightness, IP rating (only IP54), and a charger in the box.
If you have a spare USB-C charger at your disposal, and like the unique design and aura of a Nothing phone, you can pick the phone in this sale and benefit from the sale price.
On the other hand, if you want better performance, a better display (more details thanks to a higher PPI, more brightness, and better glass protection), and faster charging, there’s POCO F6 in the market (starts at Rs 27,899). You can also consider alternatives like Motorola Edge 50 and OnePlus Nord 4 which offer brighter displays and better ingress protection. But, they have their shortcomings too.
