Redmi 13 5G India price (expected)

As per tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Redmi 13 5G could start at Rs 13,999 for the 6+128GB model and there could be an 8+128GB model costing Rs 15,999. In both cases, he mentions a Rs 1,000 cashback as a launch offer.

It could get competition from phones like the iQOO Z9x, Samsung Galaxy M34, Realme Narzo 70X, and even the Redmi 12 5G.

Redmi 13 5G specifications (expected)

• Display: The Redmi 13 5G is said to feature a 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate. This is touted as the biggest display in the segment for a 5G phone.
• Cameras: On the back, the phone could have a 108MP primary camera and a 2MP macro module. On the front, it could carry an 8MP selfie shooter.
• Processor: Redmi has confirmed this new phone will ship with India’s first Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE (Accelerated Edition). The regular Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 was launched in June 2023 and came with two performance cores at 2.2GHz and six efficiency cores at 2GHz clock speed. It is manufactured on Samsung’s 4nm process node. The Redmi 12 5G had this chip. Let’s see what the AE model brings to the Redmi 13 5G.

• Software: Another first about this phone is that it is going to be the first Redmi phone to bring HyperOS out of the box. This is expected to have Android 14 OS under the hood.
• Battery: The device has a 5,030mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. 
• Colours: The phone could be available in pink, blue, and black colours.
