OnePlus Nord 4 Indian variant spotted on Geekbench ahead of July 16th launch
Just a few days ahead of the official launch, which is set for July 16th, the alleged Indian variant of the OnePlus Nord 4 has appeared online. The smartphone has appeared on the certification site with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, which corroborates a recent report. Here are the expected details of the upcoming OnePlus Nord 4, which will launch as the successor of the OnePlus Nord 3.
OnePlus Nord 4 Indian variant Geekbench details
- Through X (formerly Twitter), tipster Sanju Choudhary has shared Geekbench details of the Indian variant of the upcoming OnePlus Nord 4.
- The phone has appeared on the certification site with the CPH2661 model number, and has scored 1,866 points and 4,216 points in single-core and multi-core tests.
- The database shows it will come with an octa-core processor with a prime core running at 2.80GHz, two mid-cores at 2.61GHz, and three efficiency cores at 1.90GHz.
- Notably, this indicates the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, which is also expected to be featured in the global variant, as per leaks.
- Furthermore, the listing shows the Indian variant of the phone will pack at least 8GB RAM and run on the Android 14 operating system.
- No other details about the Indian variant of the OnePlus Nord 4 have been revealed via the Geekbench listing.
OnePlus Nord 4 specifications (expected)
- Display: The OnePlus Nord 3 is tipped to flaunt a 6.74-inch 1.5K resolution 120Hz display like the predecessor. However, it might come with 2150 nits of peak brightness rather than 1450 nits of peak brightness seen on the OnePlus Nord 3.
- Chipset: The OnePlus Nord 4 is said to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, which is also featured in the recently launched Realme GT 6T. To recall, the predecessor was launched with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC.
- Cameras: The Nord 4 is also expected to come with a dual camera setup consisting of a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, along with a 16MP selfie camera. Meanwhile, the predecessor also features a 2MP macro sensor on the rear.
- Battery: The upcoming smartphone is tipped to pack a 5,500mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support, which is an upgrade from the 5,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging technology on the Nord 3.
Though not confirmed, the upcoming OnePlus Nord 4 is also tipped to come with a metal body, which we last saw in the OnePlus 5T. Additionally, reports say, the phone might be priced in India at around Rs 31,999.
In comparison, the OnePlus Nord 3 was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 33,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant. Notably, these details are based on speculations, and OnePlus will reveal all the details about the Nord 4 in the coming days.
