Realme India is launching the Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro+ today. A major emphasis is on the cameras. The company has teased the camera capabilities of the onboard Sony dual cameras aided by AI. It is also revealed the phone will run on a Snapdragon 7-series chipset and a 5,200mAh battery. You can watch the Realme 13 Pro series launch event live on Realme.com, Realme’s YouTube channel, and Flipkart. The event starts at 12 PM IST.
Realme has already made the product pages for Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro+ live. These reveal the key specs and features of the phones. As for pricing, here’s what we expect based on rumours:
Realme 13 Pro series price in India (expected)
Tipster Mukul Sharma has shared a screenshot of the Flipkart listing of the Realme 13 Pro 5G with a price tag of Rs 31,999 for the 12+512GB variant. He expects the actual price would be more or less the same but launch offers may sweeten the deal.
Both models could come in a 512GB storage configuration. That’s more than the maximum 256GB storage offered on the Realme 12 Pro series. Even the 12GB variant of Realme 12 Pro launched a couple of months after the phone’s debut.
Realme 13 Pro series specifications (expected)
- Display: Although Realme hasn’t revealed anything, a leak suggests the phones could feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display. This could be 120Hz as it is table stakes for phones of this range. Their predecessors also had the same panel size.
- Processor: Under the hood, the Realme 13 Pro is confirmed to feature a Snapdragon 7S Gen 2 with over 6,80,000 AnTuTu score. This is aided by the biggest 3D vapour cooling chamber (4,500mm²). Realme hasn’t specified the chipset name or VC chamber size of the Plus model, but it has teased a Snapdragon 7-series chipset and the biggest 3D VC cooling system.
- Memory: Per the Flipkart listing, the Realme 12 Pro could come in 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+ 512GB RAM+ROM combinations. Perhaps the Plus model could also come in these variants.
- Software: We expect to see Android 14 with Realme UI 5.0 custom skin on top.
- Cameras: Compared to the Realme 12 Pro series, we have a new set of cameras here.
Realme 13 Pro+ will come with the world’s first Sony LYT-701 for “ultra clear” night shots. This will be paired with the world’s first Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto camera for 3x portrait. This periscope lens can zoom up to 120x (digitally).
The images are backed by an AI Hyperimage+ camera system and features like AI Ultra Clarity, AI Smart Removal, AI Group Photo Enhancement, and AI Audio Zoom.
The Pro model also has the Sony LYT-600 periscope sensor and these AI features. - Battery: While both phones will ship with a 5,200mAh battery, the Pro+ model sports 80W charging and the Pro model supports 45W charging. The battery sizes are slightly larger than the Realme 12 Pro series and the charging speed is faster on the Realme 13 Pro+.
Realme 13 Pro series design (expected)
- Realme attributes the Realme 13 Pro series design inspiration to artist Monet.
- You can pick the Realme 13 Pro+ in Monet Gold, Emerald Green, Miracle Shining Glass/Sunrise Halo. The Pro variant is available in a Monet Purple beside these colours.
- The phones are equipped with Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The Emerald Green variant has the Swiss-SGS 5-star durability rating.
- The Realme 13 Pro product page also mentions IP65 dust and water resistance and the Rainwater Smart Touch feature.
