Qualcomm Snapdragon For India event on July 30th: what to expect

Qualcomm is holding the Snapdragon For India event on July 30th and the company has revealed the products it will announce at the event. One of the announcements will be the Snapdragon X-series processors for Copilot+ Windows PCs. The company has mentioned the same in a post shared via its Snapdragon India X page. The other product has been teased to be a mobile chipset. Here, take a look:

Snapdragon X Elite, X Plus processors (expected)

In its post, Qualcomm mentions the launch of Copilot+ PCs powered by the Snapdragon X-series. It highlights the speed, performance, connectivity, battery life, and AI features you can come to expect from these PCs/laptops.

We expect to see the launch of the Snapdragon X Elite (the flagship) and the Snapdragon X Plus (less powerful but with comparable AI features and connectivity options).

Leading laptop companies have already announced their Copilot+ PCs for India. We have already reviewed the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED (2024) with this chip and AI capabilities. Here are all the Snapdragon X-series-powered laptops in India:

Snapdragon mobile chip for Indian market

The Snapdragon India handle has posted twice so far about this chipset. In them, it remarks the chip to be specially “designed and engineered for India”, and “a revolutionary platform set to usher millions of Indians into the 5G era”. So, it is probably a budget 5G mobile processor.
