Nothing Phone (2a) Plus tipped to come with upgraded front camera, faster charging

Nothing Phone (2a) Plus is launching later this week as a new variant of the Phone (2a). It’s even expected to be more powerful compared to the Phone (2a). Nothing has so far revealed the Phone (2a) Plus will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro SoC. It will be the first phone to feature this chipset. A new leak now reveals the key specifications of the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus. 

Nothing Phone (2a) Plus key specs leaked

• Nothing Phone (2a) Plus will feature a 6.7-inch 1080p OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits of peak brightness, and a high brightness mode of 1100 nits. It will also come with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. 
• The leak from SmartPrix further reveals that the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus will house a 50MP primary camera with OIS and a 50MP ultra-wide camera at the back. This is the same camera setup on the Nothing Phone (2a). 
• Nothing will reportedly upgrade the front camera to a 50MP sensor from the 32MP sensor. It will also add support for 4K video recording on the Phone (2a) Plus.
• The new Nothing Phone (2a) Plus will pack the same 5,000mAh battery but with 50W fast charging, which would be higher than the Phone (2a)’s 45W. 
• It is also said to launch in two variants: 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. 

That’s almost everything revealed about the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus. Based on this leak, the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus will feature upgrades on the chipset, cameras, and charging speed. We’re yet to see the design of the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, which would be interesting as the Phone (2a) has very limited Glyph LED lights.

Nothing Phone (2a) Plus like its younger sibling will launch as the first phone with a new chipset. The MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro SoC is paired with Mali-G610 MC4 GPU, and it’s claimed to offer a 10 percent performance boost over the Phone (2a).
