Key specifications revealed include the display size, primary camera, and memory configuration. Separately, the Infinix Note 40x 5G’s processor and other details have also been tipped. Infinix Note 40x 5G will launch in India on August 5th, 2024. The company has revealed this through its website. The launch event is likely to be live-streamed on Infinix’s YouTube channel.

Here’s what’s confirmed:
- Design: The phone appears on the Infinix website in a blue-ish colour. Its sides are flat. It has three cameras on the back arranged like a modern iPhone camera setup.
- Cameras: Out of the three sensors, the primary one will be a 108MP “Ultra Cam”. This can be seen stamped on the rear camera panel.
- Memory: The phone is confirmed to ship with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
- Connectivity: For now, we know the phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port.
Here’s everything else expected:
- Display: It is said to bring a 6.78-inch LCD screen with full HD+ resolution, and 120Hz refresh rate.
- Processor: As per tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, the phone could carry a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC.
- Cameras: The secondary camera on the rear panel is tipped to be a 2MP sensor. The third one could be a light sensor. The rear camera setup could benefit from 15+ camera modes and Quad LED Ring Flash. The front camera could be an 8MP shooter sitting within a punch-hole cutout.
- Battery: Under the hood, the phone could have a 5000mAh cell coupled with 18W charging support.
- Miscellaneous: Among other things, the phone could also sport Android 14-based XOS 14 software, a side fingerprint reader, DTS-tuned dual speakers, microSD card slot, and NFC.
- Colours: The phone could come in green, blue, and black shades.
- Dimensions: It could weigh 201g and have a thickness of 8.26mm.
Meanwhile, the Note 40 5G which debuted in May of this year, ships with a Dimensity 7020 chipset, a 32MP front camera, a third 2MP sensor, an under-display fingerprint reader, a 33W charging, and an AMOLED panel. However, it didn’t have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
