Tech giant Google is anticipated to unveil the Pixel Watch 3 at this year’s Made by Google event, which will take place on August 13th. Ahead of that, a new leak hints towards the smartwatch’s display upgrades, battery details, colour options, and more. Notably, several details about the upcoming smartwatch have already appeared online recently. Here are the other expected details of the Pixel Watch 3.

• As per a report by Android Authority, the Google Pixel Watch 3 will come in 41mm and 45mm sizes instead of only 41mm, as we saw on the Pixel Watch 2. However, it is not confirmed, but the larger variant might be the Pixel Watch 3 XL.
• Both variants could offer 2,000 nits of peak brightness compared to up to 1,000 nits on the Pixel Watch 2. The high-brightness nits would provide better visibility under direct sunlight.
• It is speculated that the Pixel Watch 3 and the XL variant will offer smaller bezels than its predecessor, as they might come with 4.5mm bezels compared to 5.5 mm on the Pixel Watch 2.

• The report mentions that the upcoming Pixel Watch 3’s 41mm variant might come with a 310mAh battery, unlike the Pixel Watch 2, which offers 306mAh on the Pixel Watch 2. Meanwhile, the 45mm variant is rumoured to offer a bigger 420mAh battery.
• Like the Pixel Watch 2, both the 4mm and 45mm models will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 platform and a custom co-processor. They are also anticipated to feature ultra-wideband (UWB), likely for the Find My Device app.
• As per the report, the Pixel Watch 3 will likely flaunt Silver case/Bay band, Hazel case/Hazel band, Black case/Obsidian band, Gold case/Hazel band, and Silver case/Porcelain band colours. Notably, some of these colour options were also seen in the predecessor.

The current report does not reveal any other details about the Pixel Watch 3, but recent reports suggest it might be similar to the Pixel Watch 2 in terms of design. The yet-to-be-launched Google smartwatch will likely offer a circular display and a rotating crown like the predecessor. However, we can expect it to be thicker than the Pixel Watch 2 to incorporate a larger battery. It will likely offer a 1.2-inch AMOLED display with several health and fitness monitoring features.
