CMF Phone 1 vs OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite blind camera comparison: which phone clicks better photos?
The CMF Phone 1 (review) by Nothing is now official in India, and it occupies one of the most competitive smartphone segments. We have already compared it to some of its direct rivals in the segment, and you will find more details here. In this article, we are doing a camera test of the CMF Phone 1 against the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite (review), but we are leaving the images to you to analyse and decide the verdict.
Daylight
Both smartphones come with a 50MP primary camera sensor, though the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite gets OIS (optical image stabilisation) support, which helps with stable shots. However, in these two photos, you will notice more or less the same amount of detail but difference in colour treatments. While it’s not the best daylight depiction, that is a limitation from our end during the monsoon season.
Portrait
The CMF Phone 1 and Nord CE4 Lite skip a dedicated ultra-wide camera. Therefore, we are directly jumping onto the portrait mode performance via the primary camera sensor. Both smartphones also come with a dedicated depth camera for efficient foreground and background separation. Both smartphones again do a decent job of maintaining details, especially of the human subject. However, one photo looks more aesthetically pleasing.
Selfie (with portrait mode)
The CMF Phone 1 and Nord CE4 Lite also include a 16MP camera on the front for selfies and video calling. Both images below again do a decent job of maintaining facial details, but one looks more natural. The other photo has also lightened the skin tone, which some users may prefer. Let’s see which image you like more.
Low-light
Handling ambient lights in a dim-lit condition can get tricky for smartphones in this range. Surprisingly, the CMF Phone 1 and OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite do a decent job of minimising lens flare and noise in their respective images. However, you can notice visible differences in the red spots in the photos. Let’s see which phone’s performance pleases you more.
Low-light (night mode enabled)
Even with night mode enabled, there’s not a big difference in the colour science. But there’s a visible difference in terms of sharpness and clarity. However, both photos still lack finesse.
This concludes our blind camera comparison between the CMF Phone 1 and OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite. It’s time to cast your votes.
