The Realme GT 6T, with its 5,500mAh battery, managed to last 13 hours and 16 minutes on the PC Mark battery test. However, the Vivo V30e, with the same battery capacity, lasted 14 hours and 56 minutes, which is considerably longer than the battery life offered by the GT 6T.

In our video streaming test, both handsets performed equally well. After streaming a 30-minute YouTube video at the maximum supported resolution, both the Realme GT 6T and Vivo V30e lost 3 percent of their battery life. If you spend a lot of time binge-watching videos on YouTube, either of these phones will serve you equally well.

Gaming test

In our gaming test, we played BGMI, Call of Duty, and Real Racing 3 on the handset for half an hour to check how much battery had been drained during our gameplay. In this test, the Realme GT 6T dropped an average of 6.67 percent battery while the Vivo V30e lost an average of 5.3 percent battery. Clearly, the V30e managed to handle our gaming sessions better.

Charging speeds

The Vivo V30e supports 44W fast charging technology. In our charging test, the phone took 57 minutes to charge the battery, from 20 to 100 percent. On the other hand, the Realme GT 6T achieved the same in 32 minutes with its 120W fast charger. As a result, the Realme GT 6T can charge significantly faster and thus wins the charging test.

Verdict

As expected, the larger battery capacity makes the Realme GT 6T an outright winner. The handset showcases superior battery performance in various tests, including PC Mark, video streaming, and gaming. While the Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a slight advantage in charging speed, the impressive battery endurance of the Realme GT 6T smartphone makes it a compelling choice for users prioritising long-lasting power.
