The OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite India launch date has been officially announced. The brand has hosted a microsite on the OnePlus and Amazon websites and posted about the same on its social media channels. On these sites, the company has also shown off the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite’s rear design, display, and primary camera details. Let’s have a look.

OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite 5G will launch in India on June 24th at 7 PM. The company boasts “all-day entertainment” and “never a dull moment” out of this phone.

The company gives you the option to Notify for the launch event through the official website and the dedicated Amazon India page. It also offers you an option to win a free OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite by answering some questions and sharing the page.

OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite design, camera

• Design: The OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite appears in a “Mega Blue” colour. The edges are flat. The rear side has a pill-shaped rear-camera island and the brand logo.
• Camera: The main camera on the phone is a 50MP Sony LYTIA sensor with OIS. This is lower in resolution than the CE3 Lite but a higher megapixel doesn’t necessarily mean higher quality. Also, the predecessor lacked OIS. So, the photos and videos from the newcomer could prove to be clearer.

In an interview with Tom’s Guide, OnePlus president and COO Mr Kinder Liu called Nord CE4 Lite one of the company’s “most important products in 2024”. He added the phone “will deliver a longer, brighter and smoother experience compared to its predecessor.”

Liu also revealed the 50MP camera will feature an aspherical lens that could alleviate aberrations and distortions while also providing a wider field of view. Since the lens will be lighter, thinner, and flatter, it could help control the device’s thickness. The Nord CE3 Lite was 8.3 mm thick. Let’s see how thick the CE4 Lite will be.

• Display: From Mr Liu, we learned the Nord CE4 Lite will have a brighter 120Hz OLED screen at 2,100 nits. Meanwhile, the Nord CE3 Lite could illuminate up to 680 nits only. The display will also be responsive even when your fingers are wet/moist thanks to Aqua Touch display technology (something which we’ve already seen on the OnePlus 12).

OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite is expected to price this phone under Rs 20,000. The Nord CE3 Lite had started at Rs 19,999 in the country.
