91mobiles has scooped up the live image of an upcoming Lava smartphone. Our industry source tells us this is from the Lava Blaze series. The phone’s name will be news for some other day. Whatever the Lava phone’s called, the phone’s design is here for your delight.

This phone has a curved design like the Lava Blaze Curve 5G. Although the display shot isn’t with us, we have been told the display is also curved on the edges. It is interesting to see a curved phone when most new phones nowadays have a flat design. (Case in point: Lava Yuva 5G and Lava O2.)

Speaking of edges, the right side seems to have the volume rocker and power button. The side frame has a more shiny accent than the rear panel.

That’s a beige-like colour and the back curves have a fine sheen. You may get other colours too at launch.

The black-coloured camera island offers a nice contrast to the beige hue of the rest of the body.

If you look closer, this circular camera island has a lot going on in terms of design. We can see a part of it is pitch black while the other part has a disc-like glare.

There appear to be two lenses, one of which is a 64MP snapper as it is stamped on the island. This could be the primary camera. Alongside the cameras, there is a flashlight module also.

Finally, our eyes fall on the Lava 5G branding in the bottom left corner.

Lava’s last Blaze series phone was also a 5G phone. Yes, we are talking about the Lava Blaze Curve 5G which launched in March 2024 with MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 64MP triple rear camera setup, and a 32MP selfie shooter. It shipped with a generation-old Android 13 though.

Let’s see what the newcomer brings. We should be getting more details soon.
