Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 to power these phones from Xiaomi, Realme, iQOO and more
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC is officially announced as a new chipset from the flagship series. The chipset is based on a 4nm TSMC process, and features 1 Kryo Prime CPU clocked at up to 3.0GHz, 4 Kryo Performance CPUs with a clock speed of up to 2.8GHz, and 3x Kryo Efficiency CPUs at up to 2.0GHz. There are a bunch of phones already confirmed to ship with the new chipset. Check out the details.
Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, new Redmi phone
- Xiaomi has confirmed that Civi 4 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. This could be one of the first phones with the chipset.
- The handset will arrive as a successor to the Civi 3, which shipped with Dimensity 8200-Ultra.
- Besides the Civi 4 Pro, the second device will be a new Redmi series phone that isn’t the Redmi Note 13 Turbo as rumoured earlier.
- Redmi says that this will be a new mid-range smartphone that will reshape the “mid-range performance landscape.”
iQOO Z9 series
iQOO too has confirmed the upcoming iQOO Z9 series will have a phone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. This model could be dubbed the iQOO Z9 Turbo and is expected to be introduced in April. Not much is known about the iQOO Z9 Turbo at the moment.
Realme GT Neo6
After confirming the GT Neo6 SE will be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, the Realme GT Neo 6 is expected to ship with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. The official confirmation from the brand is yet to arrive.
Honor too confirmed a phone with the new high-end Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC but the details are not completely out.
For now, these are phones that will come with the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC but we will update when a new phone is confirmed to get the latest chip.
