Realme 12 Pro series, Realme GT Neo 6 launch timeline tipped once again
Smartphone brand Realme is expected to launch a number of phones, including the Realme 12 Pro series and GT Neo 6, in the coming weeks. The company hasn’t revealed any specific details about these phones, but several leaks and speculations are making rounds of the internet. Now, the launch timeline of the Realme 12 Pro series, including the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+, and Realme GT Neo 6 has been tipped once again.
Realme 12 Pro series, Realme GT Neo 6 launch details
- On Weibo, Digital Chat Station said that Realme is set to release the upcoming Realme 12 Pro series smartphones in the first half of 2024.
- The tipster also mentioned that Realme plans to launch the GT Neo 6 after the 2024 Chinese Spring Festival, which starts on February 10th – towards the end of February.
According to recent reports, the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ are likely to carry the model numbers RMX3842 and RMX3840, respectively. Both models are expected to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset.
The standard Pro variant may feature a 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto camera boasting 2x optical zoom, while the Pro+ variant could come equipped with a 64MP OV64B periscope telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom.
The upcoming Realme 12 series is positioned as a mid-range offering, with a primary focus on the camera features. There are suggestions that the handset will include an aluminum frame, enhancing its durability.
Meanwhile, the Realme GT Neo 6 would likely feature an aluminum frame, and it is anticipated to have a price below CNY 2,000, which is approximately Rs 22,900. It is expected to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
There is a possibility that the Realme GT Neo 6 might draw inspiration from the Realme GT 5, which was previously released in China.
On the other hand, Realme has launched the C67 5G with a 6.72-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, a 50MP camera, MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging technology, and much more starting at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB+128GB storage.
