OnePlus Ace 3 confirmed to launch in China on January 4th; will come to India as OnePlus 12R

OnePlus has finally confirmed the OnePlus Ace 3 launch date in China. The handset will come as a successor to the Ace 2. It is widely believed that the phone will be rebranded as OnePlus 12R for global markets, including India. The OnePlus Ace 3 will debut in China on January 4th at 14:30 local time (12 PM IST). The teaser poster shows the phone in Grey, Gold and Blue colour options and we can see a familiar large circular camera module.

The handset might be rebranded as the OnePlus 12R for global markets.
The company mentioned that the OnePlus Ace 3 will offer a flagship screen, flagship quality, long-lasting battery life and more to users.
OnePlus 12R is scheduled to launch in India on January 23rd alongside the OnePlus 12.
The teaser image shows a large circular module to house triple camera sensors and an LED flash.
The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge.

OnePlus Ace 3 specifications (expected)

Display: The OnePlus Ace 3/OnePlus 12R is rumoured to flaunt a 6.78-inch OLED display with 4,500 nits peak brightness and up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
Chipset: The handset could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
RAM and storage: Up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB storage can be expected.
OS: The handset should ship with Android 14 out of the box.
Rear cameras: The OnePlus Ace 3 is expected to sport a 50MP OIS main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro module. There could be a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies.
Battery: There could be a 5,500mAh battery with 100W fast-wired charging support.
Connectivity: 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for charging.
