Resident Evil 4 Remake will reportedly get Separate Ways expansion
Resident Evil 4 Remake has launched for PC, PS5, PS4, and Xbox Series X|S just a few days ago. It seems developer Capcom has plans to bring more content to the game. Dataminers have uncovered an upcoming DLC for Resident Evil 4. Dataminers have found references to Resident Evil 4’s Separate Ways DLC that wasn’t a part of original release on GameCube, but it was introduced to later versions of the game. Separate Ways DLC follows Ada Wong and offers a fresh perspective on the events of the game.

Resident Evil Central and RexXXy have found references to The Another Order, which is the Japanese name for Separate Ways DLC. Industry insider Dusk Golem had previously claimed that Resident Evil 4 Remake will Separate Ways content in the future. They said, “Separate Ways is down the line DLC. It’ll be longer and more fleshed out than the original Separate Ways.” While Capcom hasn’t confirmed anything yet, it won’t be surprising to see the DLC being added to remake. Resident Evil 4 Remake has been well received by critics as well as fans, so it makes sense to bring more content from classic games.
Capcom is adding Mercenaries mode to Resident Evil 4 Remake on April 7. Mercenaries mode has been a part of many Resident Evil games, with the most recent one being Resident Evil Village. Resident Evil 4 Remake’s Mercenaries mode is quite similar to the one in the original. Players will most likely need to complete the main story to unlock Mercenaries. The free mode will be available for all players who own the game. The Mercenaries mode has somewhat of an arcade feel, where you can play as a bunch of characters from Resident Evil 4 and try to kill as many zombies as possible within a time limit.
