[Exclusive] Motorola Maui design, specifications revealed before launch
This year saw Motorola get up and go on a launch spree as the brand introduced handsets across segments, from entry-level to full-fledged flagships and even a foldable device. However, the Lenovo subsidiary is not finished with its binge-launching season yet – there’s an entry-level handset, the Motorola Maui, poised to launch before the end of this year.
91mobiles has gathered the phone’s renders and crucial specifications from a reliable industrial source. Here’s your first look at this forthcoming Motorola Maui and what it brings to the table.
Motorola Maui design
The Motorola Maui has a traditional candy bar form factor. Motorola Muai’s flat back has curved sides for a better grip. It houses a rectangular camera island that neatly tucks a triple camera setup and an LED flash. There’s also a Motorola logo, which probably functions as a fingerprint reader.
Coming to the front, you get a thin bezel display with a chunky bottom and a centre-aligned punch-hole camera at the top. It features a volume rocker with a power button on the right side. The render doesn’t show us what bottom of the Motorola Maui.
We’ll have to wait for the launch event to know if it has a 3.5-mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port for charging. Of course, there’ll be a speaker grille and a microphone at the bottom.
Specifications
Motorola Maui will ship with a 1600×720 pixel HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The device’s heart is a Mediatek Helio G37 chip and packs 3GB RAM. Photography needs on the Motorola Maui will be taken care of by a 5MP front-facing snapper and a triple rear camera setup: 16MP f/2.2 H1634B, 2MP f/2.4 OV02B10-A25H-001A, and 2MP f/2.4 GC02M1-C24YA.

The complete spec sheet of the Motorola Maui is still under wraps, but that shouldn’t stop it from being subject to leaks.
