[Exclusive] Motorola Devon 5G render, full specifications revealed ahead of launch

Highlights
  • Motorola Devon 5G’s design is similar to the Moto G32 4G smartphone.
  • The upcoming Devon 5G features 64MP triple rear cameras and a MediaTek chipset.
  • Motorola Devon 5G could be called Moto G32 5G.

Motorola Devon 5G specifications and render have now been revealed by 91mobiles courtesy of an industry source. We last spoke about Devon back in June when reporting on Motorola’s roadmap going into 2023. At the time, Devon was said to be a 4G, low-mid-range smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset. This device arrived as the Moto G32 in India last month. Apparently, there’s a 5G variant of Devon in the works as well, and the image shown above is what the phone looks like.

Motorola Devon 5G design and specifications

As you can see from the render above, the Motorola Devon 5G looks identical to the Moto G32 4G, with a centered hole-punch cutout and a rectangular rear camera module. The rear camera system includes three sensors: a 64MP f/1.8 primary camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The hole-punch houses a 16MP front camera.

A MediaTek 5G chipset powers the Motorola Devon 5G. We’re not quite sure what this processor is at the moment. The phone will be available in 4GB and 6GB RAM options. If the dimensions are similar to the Motorola G32 4G, we can expect a 6.5-inch FHD+ (1080×2400) display. This is all we know about the Motorola Devon 5G for now.

As for its launch, Motorola could announce the Devon 5G anything soon since the 4G version has already been released. We expect to see this device make an appearance before the end of the year, which is when we will also understand its marketing name. Our bet is that Motorola will simply call it the Moto G32 5G.
