This is expected to be an entry-level Poco smartphone. The Poco C40 is said to be in the works for quite some time. It was recently spotted on the NBTC website bearing the model number 220333QPG, which suggests its launch could be just around the corner. The Poco C40 smartphone could be powered by a JR510 chipset manufactured by China’s JLQ technology and might run on a stripped-down version of MIUI called MIUI Go. As for the rest of the specifications, which are vague at the moment, the smartphone is expected to pack in a large 6000mAh battery with 10W charging support with a dual-camera system on the rear. The listing has also revealed dimensions of 167.18 x 76.87mm (length x width).

Xiaomi 12 Ultra

Xiaomi is clearly not done with the Xiaomi 12 series yet. A bunch of smartphones under the 12 series have been making the rounds over the past couple of months. One of the most prominent is the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. The Chinese tech giant’s focus with the 12 Ultra will be enhanced photography, just like last year’s Mi 11 Ultra. To make things better, Xiaomi has recently announced a partnership with the iconic German camera maker Leica for enhanced image quality and innovative camera experiences. While it’s not confirmed yet, the 12 Ultra will most likely be the first Xiaomi smartphone to benefit from the said partnership. As for the rest of the specs, the 12 Ultra is said to come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, a large 6.73-inch 2K AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support and a 4900mAh battery in tow.

Xiaomi 12S and 12S Pro

In addition to the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, Xiaomi is also working on Xiaomi 12S and Xiaomi 12S Pro. According to rumours, both of these flagship phones could be powered by the recently unveiled Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and bring in better imaging capabilities in collaboration with Leica. That said, the handsets’ camera setups are likely to remain the same as the regular Xiaomi 12 series. The Xiaomi 12S specifications could also include 120Hz LTPO 2.0 displays, up to 4,600mAh battery, and 120W of fast charging support.

Xiaomi Mix Fold 2

The successor to the original Mi MIX Fold, Xiaomi MIX Fold 2, is also in the works, and the handset could launch alongside Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Several leaks over the past couple of months have revealed that the foldable will rock an 8-inch and a 6.5-inch inner and outer displays respectively. The former will reportedly support a 120Hz refresh rate along with LTPO technology. Interestingly, reports suggest the MIX Fold 2 could have a convertible notebook like-hinge, which can go all the way to the back and not just limited to 180 degrees.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 is said to rock the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and a 5000mAh battery unit. Coming to the optics, the handset could retain the 108MP primary camera from the previous generation and possibly other camera lenses as well. Lastly, it may also come with the support of a stylus to make perfect utilisation of the large inner display for note-taking and sketching purposes.

Redmi Note 11T Pro series

Xiaomi has revealed the successors to the Redmi Note 10T series in the form of the Redmi Note 11T Pro and Redmi Note 11T Pro Plus. Both smartphones could land in India in the upcoming months either with the same or different monikers. The handsets rock Mediatek Dimensity 8100 SoC paired with ARM Mali-G610 MC6 GPU, 8GB/6GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB/256GB storage. They both sport a 144Hz 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD panel and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Redmi Note 11T Pro

Coming to the optics, the Redmi Note 11T Pro series comes with a triple rear camera system with a 64MP Samsung GW1 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, there’s a 16MP front snapper for selfies and video calling. What sets both of the phones apart is the battery capacity and charging speeds with the Redmi Note 11T Pro sporting a 5080mAh battery with 67W fast charging while the Redmi Note 11T Pro+ comes with a smaller 4400mAh battery with faster 120W charging support.

These were some of the Redmi and Xiaomi phones expected to launch in 2022. In addition to them, there are Redmi Note 12 series, a 200MP camera phone, and a Xiaomi MIX Flip smartphone are also in the making.
