Redmi Note 11T Pro launch officially confirmed: will it come to India?
Redmi Note 11T Pro launch has been confirmed by Xiaomi. The phone will arrive in China this month, though an exact launch date has not been announced yet. This will be the debut of the Redmi Note 11T series in China. You might recall that the vanilla Redmi Note 11T 5G has already been released in India. The device arrived way back in November 2021 with a starting price of Rs 16,999. Does this mean the Redmi Note 11T Pro will launch in India? It seems likely.
The Redmi Note 11T Pro China launch poster does not reveal the design or specifications of the upcoming device yet. Xiaomi has also not confirmed whether the smartphone will launch in markets outside of India.
Redmi Note 11T Pro could come to India as a rebranded phone
Xiaomi has a very confusing portfolio of Redmi phones. The Redmi Note 11T that launched in India was a rebrand of the Redmi Note 11 that is available in China. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 11 Pro that is available in India is not the same as the Redmi Note 11 Pro in China. This makes us wonder if the Redmi Note 11T Pro that’s launching in China will come as it is to India or with a different moniker.
Interestingly, the Redmi Note 11 Pro China variant features 120W fast charging, while the Indian variant offers only 67W charging support. It is possible that the Redmi Note 11T Pro could come to India with 120W charging support with a price tag under Rs 20,000. This would make it the cheapest Xiaomi phone with 120W fast charging. The current cheapest from the brand is the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge.
The Redmi Note 11T Pro is expected to be more powerful and feature-loaded compared to the Redmi Note 11T.
To recall, the Redmi Note 11T features a 6.6-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
In the camera department, the Redmi Note 11T is equipped with a 50MP and 8MP dual-camera system. There’s a 16MP camera at the front for selfies. The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
Our wishlist for the Redmi Note 11T Pro would be a higher 120Hz AMOLED display, triple rear cameras, and faster 67W or 120W fast charging support. We will have to wait and see whether the official specs line up with our speculation.
