Bounce Infinity E1 electric scooter price in India has finally been revealed. During the launch event on Thursday, the company revealed that the Bounce Infinity E1 price in India starts at Rs 68,999 (ex-showroom Delhi), which means it will compete with the likes of Ather 450, Ola S1 and S1 Pro, TVS i-Qube and Bajaj Chetak EV. The scooter promises to offer decent performance and will also introduce new forms of ownership that are very different from traditional ways of ownership. As we reported earlier, Bounce will offer a flexible ownership experience with the introduction of the Bounce Infinity E1 electric scooter. The ownership options include availing the scooter with or without the swappable battery option as well as an option to rent out the batteries. The Battery as a Service option will effectively bring down the price of the Bounce Infinity E1.

Other than the above method of ownership, Bounce is also offering two more flexible ownership schemes. The first scheme called the BAAS1 keeps the upfront cost high and reduces the variable cost applicable post-purchase. The BAAS2 scheme reduces the upfront cost but requires a slightly higher variable cost post-purchase.

Bounce Infinity E1 specifications

The Bounce Infinity E1 has finally been launched in India and is now available for pre-booking. The new electric two-wheeler takes a retro-modern approach when it comes to the design of the scooter and the scooter will be available in five colour options – Sparkle Black, Comet Gray, Sporty Red, Pearl White and Desat Silver. Bounce Infinity E1 will also be offered in customisable art schemes of one choosing for added personalisation.

The Bounce Infinity E1 claims to have tailor-made the frame of the scooter specifically for Indian conditions and have tested it over one lakh kilometres. The scooter gets storage space for a helmet under the seat, a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, LED projector headlamps and LED tail lamps, seating for two, alloy wheels, and more.

On the mechanical front, the tubeless tyres are chunky 12 inch sized having a healthy 90 (front) and 120 (rear) profile. Braking power is derived from a 230mm front disc brake and 203mm rear hydraulic discs with Combined Braking System (CBS). The Bounce Infinity E1 offers a ground clearance of 155mm and a seating height of 780mm which should be adequate for people of all heights. The Bounce Infinity E1 also gets a 2kWhr 48V battery pack that is IP 67 rated and can be swapped out and charged anywhere and also supports regenerative braking energy re-cooperation from the scooter. Three riding modes are on offer – Drag Mode, Eco Mode and Power Mode; the Power Mode offers a top speed of 65kmph. The Eco Mode allows a single-charge range of up to 85km.

Bounce Infinity E1’s biggest talking point is the battery swapping technology that the company is trying to push for in the mainstream market.
