Redmi Note 11 tipped to launch in India in March of 2022, likely to get different name
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 11 series in China back in October and will succeed Xiaomi’s uber-popular Redmi Note 10 series. The device is soon expected to be launched in India. However, reports suggest that the devices will adopt a different moniker for the Indian market. The vanilla Redmi Note 11 will reportedly launch in India as the Redmi Note 11T 5G. The Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus are expected to launch as the Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge, respectively. It is expected that the lineup will be launched for global markets in Q1 2022 and the India launch is likely to take place in March, just like the Redmi Note 10 launch in 2021.
Redmi Note 11 to launch in India in Q1 2022
The Redmi Note 11 series takes over the baton from the famous Redmi Note 10 series that was launched earlier this year. The Redmi Note 11 has already been launched in China and is expected to reach global markets soon in quarter one of 2022. We expect the Redmi Note 11 series to hit Indian shores sometime in March 2022 just like its predecessor.

A lot of debate has also been on regarding the kind of devices the Vietnamese market is expected to receive. Rumours say that the Redmi Note 11 series that is expected to debut in Vietnam sometime during March of 2022 might be ditching the MediaTek sourced chipsets in favour of Snapdragon chips from Qualcomm. It is also unclear if this change will be extended to markets outside Vietnam. For India, as per leaks reported earlier, it is less probable for the Indian variants to be any different in terms of hardware from the Chinese counterparts. The moniker however as mentioned above might see some revision while it’s up for India launch.
