Nokia Tab T20 tablet set to launch in India soon, Flipkart teaser reveals

HMD Global has unveiled its first Nokia tablet earlier this month, called the Nokia T20. Now, the tablet will soon be reaching Indian shores as we see Flipkart teasing the device on its e-commerce platform. The device is being teased as the Nokia Tab T20 and not Nokia T20 as it was originally christened in the global market. The official launch date has not to been revealed and both Flipkart and Nokia are maintaining the “coming soon” tag for now. The Nokia Tab T20 will could be priced around Rs 18,500 for the Wi-Fi-only model while the LTE model will be priced around Rs 20,500 if we go by the European pricing.

Nokia Tab T20 specifications

The budget tablet when launched in India will cater to the sub-Rs 20,000 price segment. The Nokia Tab T20 will be equipped with an Unisoc T610 SoC and paired alongside 3GB RAM or 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB RAM options. The internal storage can be further expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card. The Nokia T20 features a 10.4-inch LCD display measuring 1200 x 2000 pixels. The panel glows up to 400 nits and is also SGS blue light certified.  The Nokia Tab T20 features a metal body that is finished in the Deep Ocean colour option which is a darker shade of blue.

The Nokia Tab T20 gets an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. The tablet also packs in an 8,200mAh battery which can fast-charge at 18W however is bundled with just a 10W charger. Nokia T20 gets dual microphones, dual stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual-band Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth 5.0 and the LTE variant also gets GPS capabilities. 

The Nokia Tab T20 gets Android 11 out of the box and has been promised to get two years of Android updates. The budget tablet will also get monthly security updates for three years and fours years of monthly security updates on the enterprise variants.
