Possible iPhone SE 3 design shown off through concept renders
Rumours about Apple launching an iPhone SE 2020 successor this year have been around for quite some time now. There are several speculations as to what it will be called, with one report suggesting that it will go by the iPhone SE 3 monicker, while another one speculates that it could be named iPhone SE Plus. Svetapple.sk created some beautiful-looking renders of the iPhone SE 3/iPhone SE Plus and shed some light on some of its specifications. Given the somewhat dated design of last year’s iPhone SE 2020, Apple could likely to give the iPhone SE 3 or iPhone SE Plus a more modern look Here’s what the iPhone could look like.

As you can see above, one of the main changes in the iPhone SE 3 will be the lack of a home button. What makes things interesting is that the device is bereft of a notch altogether, while the bezels have been trimmed down. The renders imagine that Apple will opt for a hole-punch selfie camera on the iPhone SE 3. Much like the new iPad Air, the iPhone SE 3 could move its fingerprint sensor to the frame of the phone. Its bodily structure will remain largely similar to that of the iPhone 12 series, complete with the aluminium body and all
Here are some expected iPhone SE 3 specifications that we may get to see. For starters, the phone could feature a 5.4-inch 1080p OLED panel, presumably the same one used on the iPhone 12 Mini. Although the infographic suggests that the iPhone SE 3 will come with an A14 Bionic chipset, the chances of that happening are low, given TSMC’s less than optimal 5nm yields. We’re probably looking at an A13 Bionic from 2019. On the camera side of things, the iPhone SE 3 will come with a single 12MP sensor at the front and rear. Renowned Apple analyst Ming Chi-Kuo thinks that the iPhone SE 3 isn’t due for launch until after H2 2021.
