Huawei FreeBuds 4i TWS earbuds have received Bluetooth SIG certification with T001 model number, as discovered by 91mobiles. These will come as a successor to the FreeBuds 3i that launched in India last year. The certification re-confirms the marketing name and also suggests the earbuds will arrive with Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. The TWS earbuds were also spotted on the Indonesia Telecom website last month with the same model number and on SGS Fimko and MIIT certification websites. The accompanying documents revealed it will come with a Li-ion battery and charge via a USB Type-C port. We can speculate the FreeBuds 4i may come with a few hardware upgrades and probably design improvements as well. Unfortunately, that’s pretty much everything we so far know about the upcoming Huawei FreeBuds 4i TWS earbuds but we should learn more information soon.

Huawei FreeBuds 3i specifications

To recall the Huawei FreeBuds 3i TWS earbuds launched in India back in May 2020. They come with active noise cancellation and a triple mic set up — two on the outside and one on the inside in the ear canal. They are said to actively lower the noise by up to 32dB to offer crystal clear sound quality. The earbuds are equipped with a polymer composite diaphragm and are claimed to deliver balanced audio. The FreeBuds 3i pack a 10mm large dynamic driver that delivers powerful bass and are IPX4 water-resistant.

Each Huawei FreeBuds 3i earbud weighs about 5.5 grams and the charging case is about 51 grams. The earbuds support gestures with a double-tap to play/pause music, answer and end calls, and a long tap to activate ANC. The 37mAh battery on each earbud is claimed to offer up to 3.5 hours on a single charge and an additional 14.5 hours playback with the charging case that has 410mAh capacity. The earbuds are compatible with Android and iOS and connect via Bluetooth 5.0. The Huawei FreeBuds 3i is priced at Rs 9,990 and comes in Carbon Black and Ceramic White colours.
