Acer announces new gaming PCs, including the Predator Orion 7000 Desktop and Nitro V laptops

Acer has announced a new range of gaming machines, including a Predator Orion 7000 desktop and the latest generation of Nitro V laptops. The Predator Orion 7000 is a high-end gaming desktop packed with the latest hardware, including Intel’s upcoming Arrow Lake processors. Further, it also comes with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU. Acer’s Predator CycloneX 360 system fan and a liquid cooling system keep things cool. The Acer Nitro V series is aimed at gamers looking for something a bit more affordable. The Nitro V 14 is a compact and portable gaming laptop designed for gamers on the go, while the Acer Nitro V 16 is designed to be a more balanced laptop that can offer a little bit of everything.

Acer Predator Orion 7000: Specifications

• Processor and graphics: The desktop is powered by an Intel next gen Arrow Lake processors, which are yet to be officially announced by Intel. In terms of graphics, the desktop is available with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU.
• RAM and storage: The desktop offers up to 128GB (32GB x 4) Dual Channel DDR5 RAM. In terms of storage, it offers options up to 4TB HDD or up to 6TB PCIe M.2 SSD. There is also an additional SSD swap slot for expansion.
• OS: The desktop comes with Windows 11 Home pre-installed.
• Others: For cooling, the desktop features the Predator CycloneX 360 cooling system that is used in conjunction with a liquid cooling system. In terms of connectivity, the desktop offers support for Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 7.
