New Samsung Galaxy A06 render reveals third colour variant, complete design

From a previously leaked render, we gathered the Galaxy A06 has a similar design to its predecessor. We saw it in two colours, viz., white and blue. However, now the same source has leaked a new Galaxy A06 render, revealing its third colour option. And it’s golden!

Galaxy A06 colours, design (leak)

So, like the Galaxy A05, the Galaxy A06 also comes in three colours. The difference is in the actual colour options. The renders shared by Evan Blass reveal the Galaxy A06 could launch in gold (yellow), sky blue (silvery blue), and black colourways. 

It’s not just the colours, there are subtle design changes on the upcoming phone. It is flatter than the Galaxy A05. The edges are more angular and the overall finish looks more svelte. The lined pattern appears to be more pronounced. 

There are two camera rings on the back flanked by a flashlight module. Rest, you can see the Samsung logo here. 

Moving to the front, there is a waterdrop notch and prominent bezels, the archetypical design of a budget phone.

Galaxy A06 specifications (expected)

We spotted the Galaxy A06 on the Google Play Console website and the listing revealed its key details:

• Display: On the front, between those thick bezels, you could get a 1600×720 (HD+) resolution screen with 300 DPI. The Galaxy A05‘s 6.7-inch panel, meanwhile, only had 262 PPI. The Galaxy A06’s screen size isn’t known at the moment.
• Processor: Under the hood, we could get a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. This chip was launched in 2020 and is based on a 12nm process node. It consists of 2 Cortex-A75 performance cores at 2.0 GHz and 6 Cortex-A55 efficiency cores at 1.8 GHz. The Galaxy A05 also had the same chip inside.
• Memory: The performance could be aided by 4GB RAM. There could be more RAM options as the Galaxy A05 comes with up to 6+128GB variant.
• Software: The phone could ship with Android 14 and One UI Core skin (lightweight software with elements of Android Go).
