Google is launching the new Pixel line of products today at its ‘Made by Google’ event. The new announcements could include 4 phones, viz., Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. We also expect to see the Pixel Watch 3, Pixel Buds Pro 2, Gemini and other Google AI-related updates. Here are details about how to watch the event live and when it starts.

Google Pixel 9 launch event: how to watch live, time

The Made by Google event is set to start on August 13th at 10:30 PM IST. It will be live-streamed via Google’s official YouTube channel and website. You can watch it through the embedded link below too:

Only the Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold could be launched in India on August 14th.

• Pixel 9 series (including Pixel 9 Pro Fold): All phones will be powered by a 4nm Tensor G4 processor. Although the same chipset, the difference in leaked benchmark scores of Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL suggest the Pro models may be more powerful. The Pixel 9 Pro could be sitting in between the regular Pixel and the XL model in terms of specs and power. As for the bigger phone, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, it is expected to share the same processor, RAM, and even the cover screen size (6.24 inches as the vanilla Pixel’s panel). However, the main display could be big at around 8 inches. 

• Pixel Watch 3: The new Pixel smartwatch could come in two sizes, viz., 41mm and 45mm. Their AMOLED displays could hit up to 2,000 nits peak brightness. They could be faster and offer up to 24 hours of battery life (with Always-On Display) or 36 hours (with battery saver). The Pixel Watch 3 is said to bring a Morning Brief feature providing a health and fitness summary at the day’s beginning and a Readiness Score providing an estimate of how much physical activity your body can take that day.
• Pixel Buds Pro 2: As per tipster @MysteryLupin on X, the new buds could be powered by a Tensor A1 chip, ANC, Conversation Detection feature, 8 hours of battery life just from the buds and 30 hours with the case. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 could also seamlessly connect with your other Pixel devices and be available in multiple colours.
