The Honor 200 series is finally making its way to Indian shores after successfully making a debut in the international market. This lineup includes two devices: the Honor 200 and the Honor 200 Pro. They will come as a successor to the Honor 90 family, as the Honor 100 lineup wasn’t released in India. Honor 200 series price in India (expected)

Unfortunately, the Indian pricing details of the Honor 200 series are still a mystery. In the global market, the Honor 200 retails for EUR 499 (Approx. Rs 45,000) for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. On the other hand, the Honor 200 Pro starts at EUR 699 (Approx. Rs 63,500).  These devices will come in pink, black, and white shades. However, the vanilla model will come in an additional green colourway, while the Pro model will also come in a blue colour option. 

Honor 200 series specifications (expected)

  • Display: The device will flaunt a 6.7-inch FHD+ curved OLED panel with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and 4,000 nits peak brightness.
  • Processor: At the heart of the Honor 200 will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC.
  • RAM, storage: It will ship with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. 
  • Battery, charging: The device will draw power from a 5,200mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.
  • Rear camera: Honor 200 will feature a triple camera setup at the rear, including a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP telephoto sensor.
  • Front camera: For selfies and video calls, it will feature a 50MP snapper on the front.
  • OS: The device will boot Android 14-based MagicOS out of the box.

Honor 200 Pro

  • Display: The smartphone will feature a 6.8-inch FHD+ curved OLED panel with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and 4,000 nits peak brightness.
  • Processor: The device will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC at the helm.
  • RAM/Storage: It will ship with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. 
  • Battery and charging: Powering the device will be a 5,200mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. 
  • Rear camera: It will house a triple rear camera setup at the back, featuring a 50MP primary camera with OIS support, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP telephoto sensor. 
  • Selfie camera: The device will feature a 50MP shooter at the front for selfies and video chats. 
  • OS: The Honor 200 Pro will run on MagicOS based on Android 14 out of the box.

The phones have a highly distinctive look because of their gradient back panel design, which resembles marble. The rear panel of the Honor 200 series has an oval-shaped camera module that houses three camera sensors and an LED flash.

Moreover, the Honor 200 Pro has a pill-shaped island to house two selfie cameras, while the Honor 200 has a tiny punch-hole cutout to house the selfie shooter. The vanilla model features flat edges, whereas the Pro variant has slightly curved edges. 

Honor 200 series: what are the upgrades? 

Since the Honor 200 series comes as a successor to the Honor 90 lineup in India, they bring plenty of upgrades in the hardware specifications department. On the vanilla model, you will get a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC compared to the Honor 90’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. You will also get a bigger battery and faster charging than the Honor 90’s 5,000mAh capacity and 66W charging.

The same goes for the Pro variant. You get a better Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC compared to the Honor 90 Pro’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The device will also feature a larger battery capacity and support a faster charging speed than the Honor 90 Pro’s 5,000mAh cell and 90W charging.
