CMF Watch Pro 2, Buds Pro 2 appear on IMDA certification site ahead of India and global launch

CMF Watch Pro 2 and Buds Pro 2 are set to debut in India on July 8th at 2:30 PM IST. The company will launch the products globally too. This is evident from the products’ appearance on the Singaporean certification website IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority). Let’s check out their listing and other details we know thus far.

CMF Watch Pro 2, Buds Pro 2 certified for global launch

• We can see the Watch Pro 2 with model number D398 and Buds Pro 2 with model number B172 in the IMDA database. Folks over at MySmartPrice first spotted this.

• Last month, we came across the Watch Pro 2 on India’s BIS listing with the same D398 model number. In India, the new CMF products will be retailing via Flipkart. 
• The first-gen CMF Watch Pro had a D395 model number and it is being sold through the Shopee website in Singapore. The chances are the newcomer also retails via the same outlet.

So far, the rumour around the town is that the CMF Watch Pro 2 will sport a circular dial. That would set it apart from the rectangular dial of the CMF Watch Pro.

Since the details about the upcoming products are scanty, let’s revise their predecessor’s specs:

CMF Watch Pro

• Display: The CMF Watch Pro has a 1.96-inch AMOLED screen with 410×502 pixel resolution, 600+ nits peak brightness, and always-on-display (AOD) support. 
• Health features: It comes with 24-hour heart rate monitoring, SpO2 count, calorie counter, step count, distance, sleep and stress monitoring.
• Sport modes: You get to track over 100 sports activities.
• Others: The watch also sports Bluetooth calling with AI-based noise reduction and IP68 dust and water resistance. 
• Battery: 340mAh battery and claimed to last around 13 days of battery life.

Meanwhile, the CMF Buds Pro 2 case appears similar to the CMF Buds case, i.e., squircle in form. 

However, the rest of the specifications are likely a bump over the Buds Pro model. You can find the Buds Pro specs here.
