Rumoured POCO Pad visits FCC, Camera FV-5 database
Ahead of the official announcement, smartphone brand POCO’s first tablet, touted as POCO Pad, has been spotted on some certification websites, including FCC and Camera FV-5 database. While POCO is silent about the tablet, these certification platforms reveal key details about the rumoured POCO Pad.
POCO Pad FCC, Camera FV-5 database details
FCC listing
- As per a report by MySmartPrice, the alleged POCO Pad has appeared on FCC with the model number 2405CPCFBG.
- The listing indicates that the upcoming POCO tablet will operate on HyperOS 1.0 and support Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax connectivity.
- As per the listing, Xiaomi’s 33W Charging Adapter was used in the internal testing and had the model number MDY-12-EA.
- Additionally, the FCC listing suggests that the POCO Pad will be a rebranded variant of the Redmi Pad Pro, which was launched this month in China.
Camera FV-5 database
- Meanwhile, the Camera FV-5 database suggests that the POCO Pad will feature an 8MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture and EIS.
- As per the listing, the upcoming POCO tablet will likely feature an 8MP EIS-enabled sensor on the back with an f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP sensor on the front with an f/2.3 aperture.
POCO Pad specifications (expected)
There is no official confirmation about it so far. Still, if the POCO Pad launches as a rebranded variant of the Redmi Pad Pro, it might feature a 12.1-inch 2.5K 120Hz display with 600nits of peak brightness, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, 8MP sensor on the front and back, a 10,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging and much more.
However, it is worth noting that these details about the alleged POCO Pad are based on speculations, and POCO might come with official details about the upcoming tablet in the coming days.
