Leading smart devices brand, Qubo from the Hero Group has today announced the launch of a new video door phone, the Qubo InstaView. The company says that this will bring the much-needed, generational upgrade to conventional video door phones. The doorbell phone features an improved version of their bestselling Video Doorbell, in the form of the Qubo Video Doorbell Pro along with an all-new portable display unit, the Qubo Home Tab.

The Qubo Home Tab is designed as a new-age control centre for modern homes. It allows users to answer their door through a video call on their smartphone. However, with InstaView, Qubo takes things up a notch with the video call from the doorbell delivered not just on a user’s phone but also on the Home Tab, which can be placed anywhere inside the home or even outside the premises.

Qubo says the portability of the indoor display unit makes it superior and versatile to traditional video door phones. The Video Doorbell Pro of the InstaView offers a 32MP 2K resolution camera, a 2W echo-cancelling speaker and an enhanced connectivity range. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi and Ethernet PoE connectivity options.

This seamlessly pairs with the Qubo Home Tab, which according to the company has the potential to turn into the control hub for the entire home in the future. For now, users can watch the video feed from their video doorbell on the Home Tab, talk to visitors and even unlock the door.  The product can also turn into a sleek Digital Photo Frame. 

The Qubo Home Tab offers an 8-inch touchscreen display, built-in 8GB storage, a wireless design, and multiple display units that allow you to expand the system with up to two Qubo Home Tabs for convenience.
