Both Realme P1 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro offer unique designs that set them apart from their competition. Realme P1 Pro retails in two colours, namely Blue and Red whereas Redmi Note 13 Pro comes in three colours, viz., White, Black, and Purple. Realme P1 Pro sports 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The storage type is faster and more efficient than UFS 2.2 inside the Redmi Note 13 Pro.

The Realme phone boots Android 14 with Realme UI on top. It offers 2 years of Android OS updates and 3 years of security patches. The Redmi phone ships with Android 13-based MIUI but can be upgraded to Android 14-based HyperOS. The company has promised 3 years of OS upgrades and 4 years of security updates.

Realme P1 Pro has 2 cameras on the back. The leader is a 50MP sensor with OIS support. It is backed by an 8MP 112-degree ultra-wide snapper. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 13 Pro has a 200MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP 118˚ ultrawide shooter, and a 2MP macro module.

So, Redmi offers more cameras, a higher-res primary camera, and a secondary camera with a slightly wider field of view. Rest, both phones sport a 16MP selfie camera, 1080p at 30 FPS video from the front, and 4K30 videography from the back.

Redmi Note 13 Pro has a pinch bigger 5,100mAh cell supported by a faster 67W adapter. This charger is capable of filling up the tank in 50 minutes. So, you could save 10 minutes with the Redmi phone. In both cases, the charger is part of the retail box.

Verdict

Redmi Note 13 Pro is the phone to go for if you want a brighter and more vibrant display with Gorilla Glass Victus protection, a more versatile rear camera setup, faster charging, and longer software support. At the same time, Realme appears to have the upper hand in performance because of a larger AnTuTu score and better UFS 3.1 storage. It also comes with the latest software out of the box and costs less than the Redmi phone.
