Takeaway

Both the Galaxy A55 5G and OnePlus 12R offer solid displays, on paper at least. We have yet to review the Galaxy A55, but Samsung has rarely failed in the display department. Cameras are another area where Samsung has an edge over the OnePlus 12R. In our review of the OnePlus 12R, we felt the phone delivered exceptional performance and battery life, but felt wanting when it came to the cameras.

As far as performance is concerned, we are yet to test what the Galaxy A55’s Exynos 1480 can offer. The one aspect where the OnePlus 12R has a clear lead is in the fast charging department, offering 100W charging support over the Galaxy A55’s 25W charging speed.
