OnePlus Ace 3V tipped to pack an unreleased Snapdragon processor

OnePlus Ace 3V specifications have been showing up on the web in increments. We now learn the OnePlus phone could debut a new Snapdragon chip. Besides that, the latest string of details reiterates what we knew already. But it is enough to jog our memory. Well, this seems a good time as its predecessor had come out in March of last year. So, the device must be awaiting an imminent launch. Here’s what we know about it:

OnePlus Ace 3V processor (rumoured)

• Prolific tipster DigitalChatStation has tipped via Weibo the key Ace 3V specifications.
• The new bit of information is that the OnePlus device could ship with the SM7675 chipset. This is believed to be a yet-to-be-released Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. Earlier the tipster had claimed Snapdragon 7 Gen 3.

• The forthcoming chip could consist of 1x Cortex X4 prime core with a clock speed of 2.9GHz, 4x Cortex A720 cores running at 2.6GHz, and 3x Cortex A520 cores spinning at 1.9GHz frequency. 
• The setup could pack an Adreno 732 GPU too.

OnePlus Ace 3V specifications (expected)

• Chipset: As aforementioned, it could ship with a Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 chip.
• Memory: We suppose the Ace 3V could be available in up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

• Display: On the front, you could get a 120Hz display with a 1.5K resolution.
• Battery: Under the hood, there could be space for a 5,500mAh battery backed by a 100W wired charging adapter.
• Design: The phone is expected to come with a glass back and a plastic frame. It could ship in two models, one with a flat design and the other one with a curved-edge body.

The Ace 2V meanwhile came with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, a 5,000mAh battery, 80W charging, 64+8+2MP triple rear camera setup, and a 6.74-inch 1.5K OLED display, among other things.
