Honor X9b is launching in India on February 15th. In preparation of the Honor X9b’s launch, the brand has been revealing key details about the phone. It has now announced a new ‘HONOR Protect Plan’ that provides extra warranty, and more benefits for the Honor X9b.

Honor X9b Protect Plan

The Honor Protect Plan for the Honor X9b is priced at Rs 2,999 but the brand is offering it for free to all Honor X9b customers. The benefits include one-time screen replacement within six months, 30-day Assured Buy Back option up to 90 percent, six months extended warranty cover, and door-to-door service assistance for 18 months.

Screen Replacement program: Honor X9b customers can avail a one-time free of cost screen replacement for primary screens within six months of purchasing the phone. You also get free doorstep pickup and delivers from authorised service centres. This covers only damages to the screen though, and no other repairs.

Assured Buy Back Program: This program is valid for 30 days, and Honor X9b customers can get up to 90 percent of the invoice value excluding GST. There are certain deductions and exclusions that will be applied to the phone. Also, phones that are broken or damaged are not applicable for the buy back program. In case there are accessories missing or minor damages, and the original box missing then the deduction could go up to Rs 1,500.

Six-month extended warranty: Under this extended six-month warranty, you get free doorstep pickup and delivery for repairs from authorised service centers. You can also avail the Zero Depreciation Program and Zero Excess Plan that provides full protection and coverage. This however doesn’t extend to consumables like batteries and accessories.

The Honor X9b is so far confirmed to come with a 5,800mAh battery, up to 20GB RAM (with RAM Turbo), and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. It’s also confirmed to feature a 6.78-inch 120Hz 1.5K AMOLED display, and Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2 out-of-the-box.
