iQOO Neo 9 Pro teased to launch in India soon: expected specifications and features

iQOO has kicked off the new year with the teaser of iQOO Neo 9 Pro’s launch in India. The phone just launched in its home market a few days back. So, although iQOO India in its post on X hasn’t spelt out or outright revealed the phone’s name or design, it has enough hints suggesting it is a Neo 9 series phone.

iQOO Neo 9 Pro teaser: what it shows

The post reveals the device is from the Neo branding and the imprint of the phone given in the image looks like that of the Neo 9 Pro. It has a dual rear camera inside two separate squircle cabins. However, the text below appears to be: Power To Win, which is different from what’s on the Chinese variants.

The phone could be different from its Chinese counterpart. The rumour is that the iQOO Neo 9 (China) could launch as iQOO Neo 9 Pro in India. So, here’s what we could expect it to bring:

iQOO Neo 9 Pro specifications (expected)

• Display: iQOO Neo 9 Pro could have a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution, HDR10+ support, a 144Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and an in-screen fingerprint reader.
• Processor: In China, iQOO Neo 9 came running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC while the Pro variant packs the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC inside. However, in India, the Pro model is believed to bring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 as it’s supposedly a rebranded iQOO Neo 9 (China).
• Memory: The performance could be backed by LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

• Cameras: It could be housing a 50MP+8MP duo on the back and a 16MP selfie snapper.
• Battery: Under the hood, it could have space for a 5,160mAh battery supported by a 120W wired charger.
• Miscellaneous: Among other things, the phone could feature 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, infrared sensor, GPS, USB-C port, stereo speakers, and NFC.
