Dell UltraSharp lineup introduces world’s first 34″ and 40″ monitors with 5-star eye comfort
A few days before CES 2024, Dell UltraSharp 34 and Dell UltraSharp 40 monitors have been unveiled. The key pitch is that these are the world’s first 34-inch and 40-inch monitors with a 5-star eye-comfort rating. Both of them are wide and curved in design. Besides that, they both sport a 120Hz refresh rate and Thunderbolt 4 support. Here’s all you need to know about them.
Dell UltraSharp 34″ and 40″ prices
- Dell UltraSharp 34 (U3425WE) starts at $1,019.99 (around Rs 84,812.17) and will be available soon in Q1, 2024.
- Dell UltraSharp 40 (U4025QW) starts at $2,399.99 (around Rs 1,99,559.17) and will be available soon in Q1, 2024.
Dell UltraSharp 34 specifications
- Screen: It has a 34-inch curved LCD panel with WQHD (3440 x 1440) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 2000:1 IPS Black contrast ratio, 178-degree field of view, 1.07-billion colours, 100% sRGB, 98% DCI-P3 and VESA DisplayHDR 600 support. It is 5-star-certified for all-day eye comfort by TuV Rheinland.
- Connectivity: It comes with a Thunderbolt 4 HUB consisting of USB-C up to 90W power delivery, a Display Port 1.4, a 2.5 GbE RJ45 LAN port, a USB-A port, and HDMI 2.1.
You can connect two PC sources to this screen through Picture-in-Picture, Network KVM, and Auto KVM.
You can calibrate the monitor colours using the Caliman-certified Dell Color Management
software.
The monitor’s height can be adjusted. You can also tilt and swivel it to your viewing comfort. The cables can be concealed in a drawer behind the monitor.

- Screen: It has a 40-inch curved LCD panel with WUHD or 5K (5120 x 2160) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 2000:1 IPS Black contrast ratio, 178° viewing angle, 1.07-billion colours, 100% sRGB, 99% DCI-P3 and VESA DisplayHDR 600 support. It is also TuV Rheinland-certified for all-day eye comfort.
- Connectivity: It comes with a Thunderbolt 4 HUB consisting of USB-C up to 140W power delivery, a Display Port 1.4, a 2.5 GbE RJ45 ethernet port, a USB-A port, and HDMI 2.1.
