The POCO X6 5G is available in two storage variants. The 8GB+256GB model is priced at Rs 21,999, and the 12GB+512GB model retails at Rs 24,999. The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G comes in three storage variants, the 8GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs 25,999, the 8GB+256GB variant is priced at Rs 27,999, and the 12GB+256GB variant retails for Rs 29,999.

The POCO X6 5G follows POCO’s design philosophy religiously, featuring the very recognisable dual-tone design with a black rectangular camera housing with the POCO logo. The build is an all-plastic frame with a glossy back, which comes in three colours. The colours are Black, Blue and White. The White model features a marble-like finish, which makes the design quite eye-catching. The device comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and an IR blaster. The smartphone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection and IP54 water and dust resistance.
The Note 13 Pro comes with a glass rear panel and flaunts an elegant design; the Coral Purple variant, in particular, stands out with its tri-colour camera module. The other colours come with a more subdued design but are still good-looking devices with a minimalistic design approach. The device also comes with the beloved 3.5mm headphone jack and IR blaster. The Redmi Note 13 Pro features a comparable 6.67-inch AMOLED display with identical specifications to the POCO X6 5G. It also comes with slim bezels and maintains the same screen-to-body ratio. The POCO X6 5G features a 64MP main camera with OIS (optical image stabilisation) and EIS (electronic image stabilisation) support and 2x in-sensor zoom. In addition, it comes with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, there is a 16MP punch-hole camera at the front.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC powers both the POCO X5 5G and the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G. The mid-range chipset is fabricated using TSMC’s 4nm process and comes with an Adreno A710 GPU. The chipset has a maximum clock speed of up to 2.4GHz.
The key difference is that POCO comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage support, while the Note 13 Pro’s top variant comes with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.
Takeaway: The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 powers both smartphones, and hence the performance output is likely to be very close. POCO does, however, offer a more robust configuration in the form of its 12GB+512GB variant.
POCO X6 5G vs Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G: battery and software
Both smartphones draw from a 5,100mAh battery with support for 67W turbo charging. In terms of software, however, the POCO X6 operates on MIUI 14 for POCO based on Android 14, while the Note 13 Pro runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 14.
Takeaway: According to the specifications, both devices feature a comparable battery and charging speed, indicating a similar performance output. They both run on MIUI 14 as the operating system, with POCO offering a personalised touch with the customised MIUI.
