One UI 6: new Quick Panel, fresh look and One UI Sans font

We’ve already covered the major new features of One UI 6 in a report a couple of months back. While Samsung did not share anything new, it did elaborate on the new features such as the quick panel which now features more options and makes them more accessible. There is also a new Music widget with better visual animations. Samsung has updated the Weather app widget which can also show future, important forecasts more clearly.

Samsung also unveiled a new One UI Sans font which will used system-wide on Samsung phones starting with One UI 6. It allows for a fresher look and feel while being more readable. The emojis meanwhile look more “fun” compared to the classic ones according to Samsung. There are more personalisation options for the lock screen and the brand also hinted at more features that could be making their way to future versions of One UI.
